They aren’t going to do it anytime soon… parking is the problem now. The college is trying to buy land up on White St. for parking and perhaps dorm rooms in 2010 or 2011.

I think the dorms would have been a great idea, that or an apartment complex that is students only. i’m moving from South Carolina to attend Daytona State and having a rough time finding a roommate or reasonable housing.

There really is no substitute for owning your own house. Funny thing is we’re five miles from the beach but never go. If we were fifteen miles from the beach we’d go more often.

Yes it is and they have alot of empty apts..most around mine are empty but it is on the rise we are getting moving trucks daily.. but it seems like as soon as they move ends..there lease is up… i love it here tho.. its only like 5 mins from the college and almost rite across from seabreeze.. so its easy to get to the beach.. we have more than enough room… i would be fine with living here a few more years but our goal is to buy a house as well.. these are great apts if u have alot of stuff and it feels more like a house neways (also both closets are walk in and it has plenty of storage in the bathroom and kitchen..

That’s a good deal! Prices are falling… I’m hoping to buy a house in a couple years if we have the sequel to the Great Depression (it will be much worse).

Seabreeze Pointe Apartments on Brentwood Drive in Daytona Beach are very affordable .. We are renting a 2 bedroom for $407 a month it is 900 sqft and very liveable.. I love it here.. also they have a 1 bedroom for $383 a month.. i believe it is 700sqft.. not bad at all for the price.. i love these apts personally.. there is a pool and the office and maintenance people are very nice.. we moved in during a sale.. (I don’t know when they are ending the sale) but the reg price for a 2 bedroom here is $475.. im sot sure about teh one bedroom .. but it should be a good price.. i imagine they are still having the sale ( the office siad there tenants went up) .. the apts are very quiet.. and they have a rule against just hanging out in teh parking lot and stuff.. overall we couldnt ask for nething more .. and yes they so accept pets (yaay)

They aren’t there… Daytona State must’ve scrapped it.

I guess so. It gives a more low-class atmosphere to the campus in my opinion. People shouldn’t be there all the time… they should go home to their lives.
